Artists

If you are an artist who works within education you can apply to join the online database.

We don’t guarantee that you’ll get work through being registered on the site. However, inclusion on the database will allow potential employers access to your details. The database is password protected and your details will only be available to potential employers who have paid for access to the database. They include:

  • Schools
  • Pupil referral units
  • Special schools
  • Community groups and settings
  • Arts organisations who run education events
  • Children and Young People Services

It is promoted to all these groups as well as a range of other organisations - for example, those working in the criminal justice system and arts and health settings.

They visit the site when they are looking for an artist and contact you directly if they are interested in employing you.

Teachers and educators are increasingly looking to arts education agencies for brokering relationships with artists. Although we can’t recommend you personally, teachers have peace of mind from finding you on this database because:

  • They can read about your past experience
  • know that you have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau
  • They can contact you directly
