Artists & Education

The University of Salford is the awarding body for the programme and is responsible for the delivery and content of the programme. University based sessions will be based in the University’s School of Art and Design where participants will have access to University information services and facilities. Management, co-ordination and administration for the programme will be undertaken by Artists and Education who will also have a responsibility for contracting outside speakers and artists employed to work with schools where this is appropriate. Artists and Education will also work closely with schools in the early stages of the programme to establish individual programmes of work and assist teachers with their development of research interests. Artists and Education and the University of Salford have a long standing relationship and a shared ethos in that both have a concern for the relevance of CPD and have established methodologies that incorporate robust structures for partnership working and effective feedback.
