Arts Award Secondary

How we work with secondary schools;

  • We work with years 7 to 11 on Bronze and Silver awards
  • We tailor projects for all levels of achievement including SEN and Gifted and Talented.
  • The award is well placed for transition to high school projects for year 6 following SATS
  • We will also work with secondary schools to write and submit funding bids for larger projects that are well placed to incorporate the Arts Award. Projects could include Enterprise, Citizenship, cross-curricular or could be included as part of arts weeks.
  • 14-19 Creative and Media Diploma. The bronze award provides additional and specialist learning for level 1, the silver award provides additional and specialist learning for levels 1 and 2.

 Costs for non-funded projects;

£100 per ½ day per Arts Award adviser, £200 per day per Arts Award adviser

Where project funding has been successful the Arts Award adviser costs are written into the project funds at no additional costs to schools.
